How to Apply for Accreditation
Terms & Conditions - Disclaimer
General
Open College UK Ltd (the company) ensures that an awareness exists within the Open College UK Ltd and through all our accredited members that we have in place a strict code of conduct and disciplinary procedure for any breach of these Terms and Conditions and an effective Complaints Procedure.
Termination
Open College UK Ltd aims to be fair and considerate in all it's dealings in most situations but in negative and problematic situations that may arise we absolutely reserve the unconditional right to cancel/terminate ANY application/application for membership/application for accreditation as we see fit at anytime. Termination also includes any further requests for free or paid for membership by anyone at anytime without further explanation and to not reply or engage in any form of debate/argument/correspondence either by telephone, email, land, sea to air postal network, text or any other form of communication with any applicants, member, site visitor or customer for any reason as we see fit at any stage.
The Open College UK Ltd reserves the right to deny/decline any application for membership by anyone under the age of 16 at any time. All applications for accreditation are at our sole discretion at all times.
The Open College UK Ltd reserves the right to cancel or terminate or close down any paid or free membership at any time without explanation as we see fit. All memberships to the Open College UK Ltd and other services we provide are at our sole discretion at all times.
All member websites agree upon applying for accreditation that the Open College UK Ltd can suspend or terminate all membership and accreditation for infringement of any of our codes of conduct at any time.
All member websites agree to accept the authority of the Open College UK Ltd regarding any breach of these terms.
Any website type listed on the banned list will not be accepted for membership.
Accreditation Status
All members understand that it is their website that is accredited by us ONLY and not the owner, webmasters, directors, (human beings) any staff member etc. No member may claim or imply in any way that they or their qualifications are 'personally' accredited by us. No member may use our name Open College UK Ltd in association with or claim or imply in any way that their product, training courses, personal qualifications, trade, experience and so on is accredited by us - Only the website. The Open College UK Ltd accredits the website itself and approves the service as suitable to trade with - nothing further than this. All members may state on site and in their literature that the Open College UK Ltd has approved their website and accredited it ONLY. The name Open College UK Ltd with the word accreditation must not be used any where else other than with reference to the member website.
Printing Costs
With regards to printed materials such as business cards, letter heads, T shits, mugs or related marketing or promotional gear, sign writing, brochures, catalogues and any other printed materials not listed here. We will not be held responsible for any changes we make to our services, free or paid for membership, accreditation and status etc. If you the member pay for costly materials in any form from a printers or otherwise then this is your loss and responsibility at all times. We reserve the right to make changes at any time to our services without providing any prior notice or warning. We cannot guarantee anything. All members fully understand and agree to this upon all applications for accreditation and membership.
Membership Logo
In all usage/displays of the membership logo, all members shall agree that the logo should not be used in such a way that it implies accreditation of your organisation or of any training course or product that you provide. All accreditation is towards the members websites and not the owner of the site.
All members must place their accredited logo on their website home page and keep it displayed there at all times. Once it is placed on the home page it may also be placed on other pages within the same site (optional) only as long as it appears on the main home page. The logo can only be used on the one members site unless other sites/mirrors are identical to one we have already approved.
Where the membership logo is used on a members website, it should be hyperlinked to the main Open College UK Ltd website link as listed here on the Members Page
Disclosure of Infromation
All accredited members shall have their name, company - business name and or website name-title, website URL - address displayed on the members list. All URLs displayed on the members page will not be 'clickable' hyperlinked. Due to the amount of listed members we have, we control the amount of out bound links from that page. All link requests must go to the links page within this same website instead. Resources.
Email addresses and postal contact addresses of all listed members will be kept by us on record for the duration of the membership or duration of the company. Members details are kept on record whilst the membership remains active. Details can be removed from our records at any time upon requst. Removal of minor personally identificable contact details by request will also result in the automatic termination of the membership.
We require to keep basic contact details of all members. Once a membership has ceased we will delete - destroy all personal contact details. Privacy Policy

Communication
With reference to free accreditation the Open College UK Ltd cannot return overseas or UK telephone calls due to the high amount of calls we receive and the expense involved. All communications must be via email only.
Your Understanding
All paying and free members and website visitors/customers that use us and all our other services should satisfy themselves that they are in full and total agreement with these Terms and Conditions, disclaimer and privacy policy before proceeding with us in any form whosoever.
Disclaimer
Under no circumstances including but not limited to negligence shall the Open College UK Ltd or it's principal & Company Director Mike Sherwood or the SFTR (from any of our many websites and services) or any of his staff members be liable for any special or consequential damages in any way whatsoever now or in the future that result in any members or site visitors use of any of our services. The Open College UK Ltd accepts no responsibility whatsoever. All members and customers of the Open College UK Ltd upon application for membership having read these Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer fully agree and understand ALL that is required and expected of you FULLY.
Updates & Accuracy
The Open College UK Ltd or it's other websites as mentioned on this page has no duty or policy to update any information or statements contained here or on site and therefore such information or statements should not be relied upon as being current as of the date you received your membership or service. Moreover any portion of the above may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
By applying for accreditation with us you agree fully with everything on this page. If you don't agree or are in any doubt please do not apply.
